LORRAINE HOLLIS Obituary
Lorraine Destafney Hollis, age 58, of West Grove, PA, died Thursday September 20, 2007. She was the wife of Stephen L. Hollis with whom she shared 38 years of marriage.
Born in West Chester she was a daughter of the late Franklin Destafney and Anna Bye Destafney who lives in Oxford. Lorraine was a 1967 graduate of Kennett High School. She was a member of West Grove Presbyterian Church where she volunteered extensively. Her main source of fulfillment in life was her husband and family.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Stephen Jr of Landenberg; 2 daughters; Lisa Francart of Kemblesville, and Lucinda Hollis of Columbia SC; 1 brother, Frank Destafney of West Chester; 2 sisters, Carole Harper of Kennett Square and Marie Dunn of West Grove.
A funeral service will be held 11 am Monday September 24, 2007 at the West Grove Presbyterian Church 139 West Evergreen St. West Grove,PA 19390. Friends and family may call from 7-9 pm Sunday September 23 at the FOULK & GRIECO FUNERAL HOME INC. 200 Rose hill Rd. West Grove, PA 19390, and from 10-11 am before the service at the church. Interment will be in the Brandywine Baptist Church Cemetery, Chadds Ford.
